Produced from the Castelão and Alicante Bouschet varieties, planted on the Setúbal Peninsula where the grapes have excellent ripening conditions that praise the personality of each of the varieties.

These varieties, Castelão and Alicante Bouschet, find the ideal terroir, for rich, full-bodied wines, full in the mouth and complex, in the vineyards of low production of the sandy soils of Palmela.

The two varieties were vinified separately and a traditional method was used and kept separately until the final batch was created. Half of the wine passed through French oak for more than 6 months. Catarina is a wine that presents a pleasant balance between the aromas characteristic of grape varieties and wood, with a long gustatory persistence.
